Every fall and spring there is a mega-fair event here on campus. This is where each club sends a representative with information and gathers in the same place to recruit new members. It is a great opportunity to go and explore all of the clubs that Miami offers.
The fall mega-fair is usually much bigger than the spring one, and has many more clubs present. It occurs the week or two after classes start and is a huge event. A lot of students go to mega-fair, especially freshman, so that they can get involved on campus. There are so many clubs and organizations to consider joining, and it is really cool to see all the booths set up in Millett Hall.
The spring mega-fair was this week, and still had a lot of organizations present. I went to represent Engineers Without Borders and there was a great amount of people there. We had some people sign up to hear more about our club which was really exciting because we are always looking for new members!
The club mega-fairs here at Miami are an easy way to get involved on campus with anything and everything that you are interested in.
