The HUB

The HUB is a new online Miami virtual bulletin board which was implemented this school year. Though it is not frequently known among students yet it has already become a widely used resource for students like me. When you first log in the main page opens to a virtual corkboard where fliers are pinned. Each organization has the opportunity to post fliers for their upcoming events. It has been a great resource for me to find out about speakers, film screenings, bake sales, cultural events, recruitments, and many more on campus events. This website was implemented last year by ASG (associated student government) to keep track of the hundreds of Miami University student organizations. Students are able to search the organizational database by setting specifications for what type of group they are looking for. Once they find one that they are interested in they can click on the organization to find out more about them. Student can even request membership to an organization and then they will be able to receive more information. Organizations can use their page to manage members, post information and documents, track member service hours, and more. The HUB is an awesome way to manage all of Miami’s student organizations in one place.
